Summer has officially come to an end, and we’re looking forward to the sights, smells and tastes of autumn. With such a versatile portfolio of wines, we’re confident that you’ll find something to enjoy this season, whether it’s a chilled glass of our dry rose or our warm and spicy Zinfandel.
We’ve even put together a bundle of our top sellers to make the seasonal transition even easier!
What Wines Are We Drinking this Fall?
We’ve put together a list of our favorite fall wines so you can pick the perfect accompaniment to your meal, dinner party, movie night, or any other occasion!
Fall Wine #1: Blanc de Blancs
You really don’t need a special occasion to crack open a bottle of bubbly, but our Blanc de Blancs is the perfect way to start a holiday meal or romantic date night. You’ll taste crisp apple and pear with aromas of toasted brioche. The creamy texture of the bubbles and bright acidity compliments a wide variety of foods, but can also stand on its own. We recommend trying our sparkling on your next movie night! It goes great with salty snacks like buttered popcorn and chips.
Fall Wine #2: Dry Rose
We know that Rose is the quintessential summer drink, but it’s a versatile wine that lasts well into the fall season. With bright acidity, juicy aromatics and a subtle, smooth texture, this wine is a perfect partner to a variety of foods. Serve our Rose with roasted turkey or chicken, butternut squash soup or even a spicy chili. It will be a refreshing palate cleanser that keeps you coming back for more!
Fall Wine #3: Unoaked Chardonnay
This refreshing, crisp version of Chardonnay is one of our most popular wines, and you’ll quickly see why. It’s bright, light and packed with citrus flavors and a refreshing minerality. It’s great on those warmer fall days, but it also cuts through rich, creamy cheeses, fried foods and seafood soups like a classic clam chowder. This is a crowd pleaser you’ll want to keep on hand all year long!
Fall Wine #4: Pinot Noir
We source our Pinot Noir from the Columbia Gorge in Washington, a unique, cool climate producing a bright representation of a classic Pinot. You’ll find notes of raspberry and red cherry with a subtle, cola-like finish and earthy undertones. Enjoy it now with charcuterie, ham or roasted salmon, or let it age and pair with rich duck, lamb or stinky, savory cheese. Find it in our fall bundle.
Fall Wine #5: Zinfandel
Our Zinfandel grapes come from Lodi, one of the oldest wine-growing regions in California. With old, hearty vines, this region lends itself to a flavor-packed, yet bright Zinfandel. Ours is juicy and medium in body, with all the dark jamminess and spice you expect from a classic Zin. Pair this wine with BBQ, lamb or a good, juicy burger. Find it in our fall bundle.
